Paint Your Grandma is my favorite class, because I LOVED my Grandma (yes, that's her in the picture!) and I probably love your Grandma too! This class is special because we spend some time telling stories about our Grandmas and it's always amazing, touching, memorable. It's a definitely a painting class too! People are notoriously hard to paint, especially if they have wrinkles! I will share with you everything I know to help you succeed.

Sometimes people prefer to paint a woman not their Grandmother, but an elder significant in their lives, and that's okay too.

Pizza & Paint classes are a 3-4 hour, fun introduction to Acrylic painting for adults...and it’s a Pizza party! Designed for beginners but fun for everyone, Julie guides you step-by-step through the painting process. Each class has a theme, and no paintings will be the same. Everything you need to make a painting will be provided, except for an apron and sometimes a reference photo!

FOR GRANDMA PAINTING YOU NEED A PHOTO!

You will need to bring in at least one photo of your Grandma. The amount of fun and ease you have in this class will depend a lot on the quality of the photo you bring in. I recommend just a head shot, think shoulders and head only. The more information you can see the better. A high resolution shot that shows you all the wrinkles, hairs and sparkles in her eyes. You don't have to paint your Grandma as an "old person" either! I'm sure Grandma would love to be painted in her youth.

The choice is yours. Depending on how old YOU are, you may not have a color photo of your Grandma. In fact, you may have a tiny little hard copy picture! I strongly recommend that you take these precious little photos into a print shop and have them scanned and enlarged to fit on a Letter size paper in color (even if the photo is black and white - the color machine will pick up much more detail).

SCHEDULE FOR THE NIGHT
